AFTER being in the music industry for 16 years, he has finally gone solo.
Now singer Nkosi Zondo has released an album called Bophelo Batho Pele.
The 37-year-old from Soweto has shared the stage with Mzansi's finest, Something Soweto and has honed his craft as a guitarist, songwriter, arranger, band leader, music producer, and director.
He told Daily Sun that he believes life is a force found in each one of us.
“So great and yet so delicately connected to the air we breathe and warm blood that runs in our veins. How important it is to remember to take care of what matters the most," Nkosi said.
He said the album is a humble attempt at encouraging the great spirit of ubuntu.

"The way of the truth is that of a life lived in unison with the music directed by us to the beautifully moving giants.
“We should never focus on material or things that we later in life will be living behind. When a person is now on their death bed and they had neglected the very people that brought them in this world saying one does not honour their parents,” he said.
Nkosi said the song is a reminder to himself and the people who will experience it.
“In the album, there is a song titled Devotions to my soul which is a prayer that also goes back to how important one has to take care of oneself,” he said.
Another song to check out is titled Keep Walking.
“I believe this is a motivational song so that when things are not going as planned or as imagined that you shouldn’t give up and keep going."
“It's important to continue and remember what is of value in our lives,” he said.
