Graphic designer and creative director Thabang Tsenase believes his talent is a prophecy from the Lord.
Graphic designer and creative director Thabang Tsenase believes his talent is a prophecy from the Lord.

HE believes his job was a calling from God.

Graphic designer and creative director Thabang Tsenase said he didn’t know what he would become until revealed through prophecy.

The 22-year-old from Jorbug East told Daily Sun that he’s been a creative director since the age of 14.

“God called me to do it through visions and prophecy through other people,” he said.

Thabang said he was in church when the pastor’s wife prophesied him.

“I was at church during a prayer session. She walked up to me and said I like drawing, working on the computer and doing digital art. She said I was too shy to show my talent to the world and that I should go through with it,” he said.

The designer said he has worked with artists such as Busta 929, Stilo Magolide and more.

Thabang said he never went to school for this.

“Everything was self-taught by YouTube and God himself. I feel like I can do more, and I definitely know that I can do more."

“I don’t think anything is impossible because my mentor Johnny Malepa showed me that,” he said.

He said his family opposed his career at first.

“Until I showed them my work and that I was working with big artist they said maybe this is your calling. I never let anything get in the way. They can’t see what God has shown me so at some point I did the best I could at school, but I knew that wasn’t what I was called for,” he said.

Thabang said his family is proud of him now.

“My mum told me that I showed her that I can do anything that I put my mind to without school, and I think she puts her trust in me,” he said.

Thabang gave some advice to young people at school.

“Listen to your parents and double check with God if what you want to do is for you and do the best you can at school even if you fail just remember that it’s not the end of the world. I’ve failed a grade before,” he said.
