FORMER Sizokuthola presenter Xolani Khumalo appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Thursday, 22 February.
The case was postponed to Thursday, 11 April, after the court ordered the TV show to bring video footage taken when the alleged drug dealer was killed.
Robert "Kicks" Varrie (49) was allegedly assaulted in July 2023.
Robert was declared dead after was interrogated during the filming of Sizokuthola in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, on Wednesday, 19 July.
He was later dropped off at the Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Xolani is facing a charge of murder, but the state has added two more charges of robbery and property damage when he last appeared in court in November 2023.
Xolani, who is out on R20 000 bail. State prosecutor, Pheello Vilakazi, told the court the investigating officer received the docket on Tuesday, 30 January.
However, Vilakazi said he has not received video footage from Moja Love.
"When the case was postponed last year, the state requested that the TV show provide the video that would be used for the police's identity parade.
"The video will assist in identifying some TV crew who were at the scene when the incident happened."
Vilakazi said the investigation officer had made arrangements to ensure he received the video and proceeded with the investigation.
He added that another footage taken with a cellphone when the incident happened in July last year has been sent to forensics to confirm whether the person captured was former Sizokuthola presenter, Xolani.

Xolani's lawyer and advocate, Prince Mafu, said cops were given enough time to get all the evidence.
"The case was postponed three months ago, but, shockingly, nothing has been done to get the video footage.
"My client is a sole breadwinner, and the longer the case drags, the more he remains on the sidelines of employment, and his family is suffering," said Mafu.
