THE late Ukhozi FM presenter Beekay will be buried today, Sunday, 17 March.

The Maskandi presenter whose real name is Bheka Mchunu's memorial service was held on Friday,15 March.

The service will took place at SABC Durban's M1 studios from 12 Noon. 

The presenter of Sigiya Nengoma maskandi show died on Tuesday,12 March at the age of 45.

During the memorial service, industry friends and colleagues fondly recalled Beekay's positive impact on their lives. The described him as a catalyst for change as he touched many hearts with his work.

His brother, Sfiso Mchunu, described him as a leader and said he died at a very young age and he has done a lot for them as a family.

His former colleague Khathide "Tshatha" Ngobe fondly remembered Beekay's kind nature, stating that he never witnessed Beekay angry.

"I once asked my colleagues if they ever saw Beekay angry and everyone said no a single day," he said.
