TRIBUTES have been pouring for Eyadini Lounge owner, Jabulani Mjay Zama.

Eyadini Lounge's management released a statement on Sunday, 13 August confirming the passing of Mjay.

“We are saddened by the passing of our founder Jabulani Thamsanqa Zama known as Jigga Money. An amazing soul, full of love, joy ad faith, ascended to heaven, away from us, but closer to God.

“Due to the sudden news, Eyadini Lounge will be temporary closed, until further notice. We would like to extend our greatest gratitude to every one of you, for always being by his side,” statement read.

The KZN-based venue had previously released a statement saying his condition was severe.

His family has requested for time and privacy as they mourn. The funeral details are yet to be confirmed

Mjay made a name for himself with the opening of his lounge located in Umlazi, south of Durban more than 10 years ago. His venue has hosted many Mzansi top celebs and some of the biggest festivals since it opened.

His lounge had recently reopened after it was temporarily closed after he had been ill for a long time, but he survived.
