RADIO host Thami Ngubeni joins eNCA as a new co-anchor.

Thami will host The South African Morning programme alongside Gareth Edwards from Monday, 4 September.

The news channel made the announcement on Friday, 1 September. Thami will replace Sindy Mabe, who joined the channel in May 2023 to host The South African Morning with Gareth.

John Bailey, eNCA editor-in-chief, said Thami would be a perfect co-anchor.

Thami was also a host on Newzroom Africa and left the show early in 2022. When she left the channel, she made an announcement on social media.

"It has been an absolute joy to be part of such an excellent team at Newzroom. May the channel continue to grow from strength to strength and deliver news that is credible and fair. To all of you who joined me every weekday from 12- 3pm for daytime Update," she said at the time.

Thami also currently hosts The Sacred Space on Metro FM - a show she has hosted for 17 years.
