MANY people have been heartbroken and if not, their time might be coming.
Producer and DJ Thabiso Mofokeng, popularly known as TTZ wants to let people know that heartbreaks are normal.
He released his recent single Ngikhathele to address the issue.
The 32-year-old from Vosloorus in Ekurhuleni, known for his song God bless, told Daily Sun that he did the song with another musician named Marikana.
“It's about someone who was hurt by their loved one. They thought the relationship would last, but it didn’t go well, so they are saying they are tired," TTZ said.
He said Marikana was going through a heartbreak when they met to record the song.
“We did a beat, and while we were trying to decide what to sing about, a topic about heartbreak came along, and that inspired us to put it in a song,” the musician said.

He said the song also teaches people that there's a lot of pretence in most relationships.
“Most of us are looking for what we can get out of a person, and in particular, women are looking to be financed and for social media clout when they get into relationships. Sometimes they want to be financed without even wanting to be with the person and categorise men in terms of what they can provide,” he said.
He said their collaboration is not just about merging talents.
“It's about creating a musical experience that resonates with audiences across the globe," TTZ said.
"Ngikhathele expresses the essence of amapiano, an infectious dance-inducing rhythm combined with heartfelt lyrics that tell a story," he said.
