ON Wednesday, 8 November, the founder of Black Brain Productions Mandla Ngcongwane and his team will gather at the Joburg Theatre in Joburg to celebrate the life of their beloved colleague, Khelina, who passed away on 1 November.

The memorial service will start from 10am until the afternoon.

Mandla N said they will be remembering one of their most loved characters on their Mzansi Magic telenovela, DiepCity.

The actress and comedian, whose real name is  Lebohang Lettie Mpyana, died at the age of 34.

The actress from Mmotong in Limpopo was part of the popular canned show which was under Black Brain Pictures.

Mandla N told Daily Sun they will remember her for all the good things she has done for the show and the production.

"On behalf of Black Brain Pictures and the management team, I would like to share my sincere condolences to the Mpyana family during this difficult time. Lebohang was an amazing actress. She was a consummate professional, who I had the pleasure of directing on our show and other campaigns. She will be sorely missed and may her soul rest in peace," he said.


The actress will be buried on Saturday, 11 November, at her home in Mmotong, Limpopo.
