ACTRESS and comedian Lebohang Lettie Mpyana, known for her role as Khelina on the Mzansi Magic telenovela DiepCity, has died at the age of 34.
The sad news of her passing broke on Wednesday, 1 November.
Her untimely death has left colleagues and industry friends devastated.
Lebohang who hailed from Mmotong in Limpopo, is known for her outgoing personality and jokes on set.

The industry remembers a bright talent
On Thursday, 2 November Mandla Ngcongwane, known as Mandla M released a statement regarding her death.
The founder of Black Brain Productions also told Daily Sun that they will remember her for all the good things she has done for the show and the production.

Mandla N said they will remember her fondly for her captivating performance as Khelina in the show DiepCity.
He said said her work will continue to inspire generations to come.
Matome Rapetsoa, the founder of Mahuma Group and chief executive, told the SunTeam they were still shocked by Lebo's death.
"It’s still so surreal. It's very hard to fathom even the slightest possibility of someone that full of life and prospects just leaving us like that. Lebo’s passing will remain a gushing wound that’ll take the longest time to heal," he said.
Lebo's fond memories and lasting impact
Matome said Lebo was one of the up-and-coming actors who were chosen to be a part of Get Down Productions’ Fundzani Theatre for Community Development project in 2011.
"Lebohang was not only an artist and colleague, to us she was family. We pray for strength and with the Mpyana family," he said.
Actress Vele Manenje(35), Lebohang's co-actor on Diep City, said the entertainment industry and society had suffered a significant loss.

"I feel saddened by the fact that she still had so much love to offer the people around her. And so much talent to offer the entertainment industry.
