THIS duo is dominating the charts in Mzansi, and they are not showing any signs of stopping.

The Pretoria-based duo is made up of Kagiso “DJ Bullet” Mashigo (33) and Thabo “DJ Patlama” Phallane (45).

The pair will release a new Afro-house club banger on 9 June, titled Doro Doro featuring Reagile Rey.

Speaking to Daily Sun, DJ Bullet said the song is a mix of Zulu and Kiroho (Swahili).

The 33-year-old producer said the song draws inspiration from their previous song called Maru.

“This time, we came up with almost a similar concept as our previous song that took Mzansi by storm.

“We hope people will love this one more as it has a samba feeling and drums doing magic to the song.

“It's most definitely a sing-along,” DJ Bullet said.

The duo met at an event in 2010 where they were both booked.

DJ Patlama said their love of deep House gave birth to a friendship that has delivered hit songs and a following.

“We started working together in 2021, and our first single was titled Ngikhethe Wena featuring Pixie L.

“We are inspired by legendary acts such as Oskido, DJ Fresh, DJ Christos and Black Coffee. Those are the artists we grew up listening to. It's an honour to be sharing a stage with them now,” he added.

In December 2022, the duo released an album titled Deep House Politics and their sound was well received, with their songs being playlisted throughout most radio stations in Mzansi.
