Mzansi is about to be hit by an unexpected new reality show that’s all about glitz, glamour and drama.

The show is called Diamond & Dolls and has socialites and influencers such as Tebogo Ramokgadi, Eva Modika, Inno Morolong, Lumi Jemma and Lolo Mlunjwana.

The show kicks off on Monday, 7 March on Showmax.

Influencer Inno Morolong, who recently got a new body for R200 000, spoke to us about the show and what it’s all about.

Diamond & Dolls is about lifestyle, Gauteng lifestyle to be exact. What goes on in the clubs, what we go through as normal people besides the glitz and glam. We are open about our lifestyle.

“We want people to learn from us. For example, I am a graduate but because there are no jobs in South Africa, we went into this business and realised that we were born for this lifestyle and it loves us. We don’t try too hard.

“We realised we could make money from partying and making appearances,” she said.

Although it’s only hitting the screens next week, Diamond & Dolls has been in the making for more than four years.

“It started with Eva, Tebogo and I. We would go out together and realised when people saw us together, they liked us and loved our lifestyle. We attracted a lot of publicity.

“A lot of people wanted to know about us. So, we started the show back then when Tebogo was the Diamond with Eva and I, the Dolls. We funded everything from our pockets until Tebogo decided to be smart about it,” said Inno.

“He decided to add two more dolls and got a better production team. There’ll be footage from years ago. Viewers will see I was still chubby then. I hadn’t gotten my new body. We’re still shooting the recent episodes,” she said.

Inno said people will relate more to her on the show.

“People will see a unique character on the show. I’m just a small-town girl. I am not a gold-digger, but am here to look for gold. I’m a hard-worker and a single mother.

“People will see a ghetto-fabulous queen. And yes, everyone on the show is like a barbie doll, but I have a unique character which I feel people will relate better to.”

The influencer said there will be drama galore.

“The show is not scripted, so there is so much drama. But I will not get much into it. I want people to watch as it is so interesting,” said Inno.
