ROCK and pop lovers are in for a treat in 2024. 

Big Concerts announced on Wednesday, 25 October, that South Africa's ultimate international music festival Calabash South Africa, has arrived.

And it is set to become the biggest stage to see the world's top artists in South Africa.

Taking place at DHL Stadium, Cape Town, and FNB Stadium, Joburg in early 2024, this flagship festival will be headlined by chart-topping Grammy award-winning American pop-rock royalty, Maroon 5 and feature performances by Keane, Meduza, Ava Max, Will Linley, and Lloyiso.

With the captivating and distinctive vocals of Adam Levine, Maroon 5 has consistently delivered chart-topping hits, including Moves like JaggerSugarPayphone, and Girls Like You.

The band has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including three Grammy Awards, and has maintained a strong global fan base.

Big Concerts CEO Justin Van Wyk said the Calabash South Africa is the international music festival that everyone has been waiting for.

"It will feature the world's biggest artists with industry-leading production at the largest venues on the African continent. It's the culmination of years of planning and a celebration of the power of music that will expand into multiple days and stages in the future. Get ready for an unforgettable experience," Van Wyk said.

He said Calabash South Africa is presented by Big Concerts in association with Discovery Bank and Heineken.
