GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY actress Manaka Ranaka and entertainer Zodwa Wabantu finally faced off in the ring during the South African Celebrity Boxing Exhibition by Infinity International Boxing.
But they failed to knock each other out like they promised on social media ahead of the fight. Instead of giving the audience blow blow action, they brought the funnies with their antics during the fight and had the audience laughing their lungs out.
At some point during the fight, which was held at The Ridge Casino in Emalahleni in Mpumalanga on Sunday 22, October, Manaka was heard crying saying Zodwa fed her muthi when they both fell and rolled while holding each other.
Ahead of the fight, they promised to punch each other when they met in the ring, but none of that happened as they seemed to be scared of each other.
And although they ran away from each other, Zodwa managed to knock Manaka out in the last round with Manaka also knocking Zodwa out.

But there was no winner at the end of the fight, but a draw.
At the end of the fight, Manaka thanked Zodwa for a good fight. “I would like to thank a 45-year-old granny. I thank you. Very well to the grannies, yes,” she said.
Zodwa thanked all the women who are in boxing and promised that their fight will be bigger in 2014.
“Hi, to all ladies who keep working on boxing in ikasi, we are here for you. Next year it will be a big fight with people like me,” she said.
Daily Sun tried to contact both Manaka and Zodwa for comment, but their phones were off.
