THE promise of a heavenly and spiritual experience was fulfilled to the people of Matlosana.
This happened through the Ultimate Gospel Festival, which was brought by Amahubo (The Psalmist) and Friends at the Auditorium Hall in Klerksdorp in the North West on Saturday, 21 October.
Experiencing special performances from the likes of the Vaal's Nombuso, local artists from Rustenburg, Stilfontein, Jouberton as well as two former Idols SA finalists, Vryburg's Diamara and Khuma's Innocentia Sibi with their sweet voices, fans were in for a treat.
How can one forget the performance by rising star Oaratwa Monye, who sang like a legendary gospel artist. Sipho Ngwenya became the first star to shine when he took the stage and took gospel lovers by storm.
The legendary Sipho left music lovers asking for more. When he thought he was done and had left the stage, fans demanded that he sings his hit track Ebenezer.
Gospel star Keke Phoofolo brought fireworks as he ran to every corner of the stage as well as to the fans.

"Gatekeepers of our industry will try to stop your career, but as long as God kept you alive as a human being, you'll then manage to continue with your career," Keke said.
Keke confirmed he had managed to beat depression after a battle of more than 10 years, that he had overcome the challenges of going through a divorce and many other hurdles along the way.
He further invited his fans to come and watch him on 18 November in Soweto. During Keke's performance, Daily Sun spotted some of the fans kneeling down and praying.
The host, Amahubo and gospel heavyweight William Sejake ended the show on a high note at midnight.
The show was also graced by the Matlosana Executive Mayor James Ntsolela.
Amahubo said he thanked Matlosana Municipality, the provincial department of Arts, Culture, Sports and Recreation, Daily Sun together with everyone who supported his event.
