AMERICAN actor, Anthony Anderson has been having the time of his time in Mzansi for the past months.

However, all the fun stopped when the 53-year-old had to be wheeled into a hospital on a stretcher because of an injury.

The funny actor who is known for his roles in Black-ish, Kangaroo Jack and Barbershop said he got injured while pulling a stunt on a movie set.

“I spent the night in the emergency room. Movie set fight gone wrong. Me against two goons and a chair! Guess who didn’t win! Who needs a stuntman? Me that’s who! I’m not as young as I used to be,” he said on Instagram.

Fortunately, nothing was damaged or broken.

“CT scan and X-rays showed nothing fractured or broken in my back just a deep contusion. That chair will never be the same though! Bloodied and bowed but never broken,” he said.

Anthony has been seen roaming around the streets of Cape Town since July last year.

Fans have been asking for pictures with him everywhere he goes and sharing them on all social media. He’s also been sharing about his stay in Cape Town and how much he’s been enjoying it.

It’s unclear what film he’s currently working on but he has also been going back to the USA for other gigs.

The actor recently hosted the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, USA on 15 January.

Another actor who was recently in Cape Town shooting a movie is Idris Elba.
