AMAZULU striker, Bongi "Mdeva" Ntuli has died.

Bongi (32), who recently got married to AmaZulu CEO, Sinenjabulo Zungu, died at Midlands Medical Center in KZN on Sunday, 5 November after losing his battle with cancer.

This was confirmed by AmaZulu on Sunday.

“It is with a very heavy heart that we inform the untimely passing of our beloved centre forward and loyal servant, Bonginkosi Ntuli.

“Ntuli was (very recently) diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, which metastasized and ultimately led to his death at the Midlands Medical Centre in Pietermaritzburg.

“May his beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. The club requests privacy and patience be granted to his family and friends at this difficult time”.

Bongi and Sinenjabulo had a traditional wedding in May 2023 and a white wedding in September 2023.

Sinenjabulo is the daughter of AmaZulu boss Sandile Zungu.
