Abashante member, Zanele 'Nestum' Nyakalle, said she can't wait to show Mzansi that she's still talented.

LEGENDARY 90s group Abashante reunites for one last performance.

Musuk' Enza Lonto hitmakers will perform at Night with Legends, a concert by kwaito legend Arthur Mafokate, alongside other groups such as Boom Shaka, Skwatta Kamp and Bongo Maffin.

One of the group members of the group, Zanele "Nestum" Nyakalle, spoke to Daily Sun about their comeback.

“I’m so excited and overwhelmed, especially because it will be like a reunion for us. I don’t know the last time we were on stage. I know people would love to see us perform again and besides people, we also can’t wait to show that we still have it,” she said.

The Lesedi FM presenter said that everywhere she goes, she's asked if she can still sing and dance. She said that at this concert she’ll finally show people what she's mane of.

“I always tell people that any talent you have it multiplies when you grow up, it doesn’t depreciate. Now you’re an adult and know exactly what you’re doing. I know it will be nice for them to see that talent doesn't die," said Nestum.

Only Nestum and Queen Sesoko will perform that day because Zombo and Abel “Aba” Golele and Tebogo “Zombo” Ndlovu are late.

“Right now, I’m not sure who the reggae guy will be, but we still have time. But the main girls, Queen and Nestum, will be there.

“We'll take our fans back to the time when we performed. We're are going to teach young people about the importance of respecting the stage. You don’t just go on stage dressed anyhow. There is always a message behind the music and it must be in sync with the attire,” she said.

Nestum said they had been talking about this comeback for a while and she's glad it was finally happening.

“We’ve been talking to Arthur for quite some time. The conversations started about three years ago but because we have other responsibilities, the timing wasn’t right. But we feel the timing is right now, so we’re doing it,” she said.
