7de Laan fans are nursing a broken heart as they anticipate the end of an era when their favourite soapie airs for the last time in December.
We took to the streets to ask fans who their favourite character is and what they'll miss most about the show.
It's been more than two decades since the colourful characters of Hillside entered our homes and our hearts. Hilda, Oubaas and Paula - not forgetting Matrone, Aggie and Maria and Charmaine - these were characters that drew viewers in many years ago.
Filming was said to wrap on 24 October, with the last episode airing on 26 December.
