THE sudden death of up-and-coming American singer/rapper Lexii Alijai has shocked the music industry.
The 21-year-old entertainer died on New Year's Day and the cause of death has not yet been confirmed. She made a name for herself by rapping to popular American rap songs such as Try Me by Dej Loaf, Thugz Mansion by Tupac, Bryson Tiller’s Exchange and Drake’s Girls Love Beyonce before releasing her first album, Growing Pains, in September 2017.
At the time of her death, Lexii had already worked with rapper Shaun Sloan, close friend Kehlani on You Should Be Here and had already opened for well-known musicians like Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert and Rich the Kid. She was born Alexis Alijai Lynch in 1998.
