SOLPHENDUKA (37) and DJ MacG (36) are preparing for their US tour this winter.

They plan to showcase their talents in New Jersey, Los Angeles and Atlanta. This is the second time they will be taking their Podcast and Chill with MacG show beyond the borders of Mzansi.

Solphenduka told Daily Sun how excited they are about the upcoming tour. The tour across the US kicks off on 22 June at Shisanyama USA in Linden, New Jersey, and ends on 4 July at The Factory in Atlanta.

"As a podcast, we've received love beyond South Africa. For many people in the US and other countries, we are the gateway to South Africa. We're currently on a national tour. We've been to Limpopo and are now in Cape Town," he said.

The presenter mentioned that they started in Durban and are now setting their sights on the US tour.

"We want them to see it live. We're going to play five shows there: New Jersey, DMV, Los Angeles, Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta," Solphenduka explained.

He emphasised that attendees can expect all the elements of the podcast that they regularly enjoy.

"Many of our supporters there are from Southern Africa. Their support is overwhelming and we are very much looking forward to this tour," he said.

Solphenduka described the tour as an eye-opening experience that is all about connecting with the fans - or "chillers" as they call them.

"The most exciting part is learning different languages. It's heart-warming to see so much support from abroad," he said.

He encouraged the audience to stay tuned to Podcast and Chill.

"We have so much to offer and we're just getting started. There's more to come," he promised.

To the young people who look up to them, Solphenduka advised: "Stay consistent. Find love in what you do and stick to it."
