Lebohang Mpyana credits hard work for her success.
The 32-year-old from Moletjie outside Polokwane in Limpopo has landed her first TV role.
She plays Khelina in the new Mzansi Magic relenovela, Diep City.
Lebohang is known for her comedic videos on Facebook where she even makes fun of her weight.
She has appeared on stage, featured on radio dramas and she’s a sought-after MC.
Lebohang said she works hard on her craft.
“I love acting. I did it on stage, on radio, at home and now on TV. I’m very lucky and have always loved to entertain.

I’ve been entertaining people since I was young. Every chance that I got I wanted to be the centre of attention and make people laugh,” she said.
She said she auditioned for her Diep City role on Instagram.
“I auditioned and I was lucky enough to get the role. I’m happy that now I can share my talent with a bigger audience,” she said.
The actress refused to divulge much about Khelina.
“8.30pm on weekdays on channel 161. That is where Khelina can be found. She is one of the residents of Diep City.”
She said she liked working on a different environment.
“The cast and crew are amazing. They are some of the most talented actors in the country, and it is just a privilege to have had the opportunity to work with them and alongside them,” she said.
