DIEPCITY star Dawn Thandeka-King is not only encouraging people to take care of their mental wellness,

but is also encouraging people to heal spiritually.

The award-winning actress took to Instagram, where she said spiritual healing leads to physical healing.

She shared her photos flanked by a man and women whom she called her spiritual children.

They were all wearing long white dresses and knitted ropes, standing next to a river.

The former Uzalo actress said getting to know your roots and healing spiritually could go a long way in one’s life.

“If you’re not healed spiritually you don’t get peace. You are always troubled and you feel your plans are not going according to your wishes. Spiritual healing is very important,” said Dawn.

She said she was called to be a spiritual mother and it was very challenging.

“They are people who depend on you to help them with the spiritual healing. I call them spiritual children. These people trust you and they were brought to you by their ancestors. As a mother, you mustn’t show weakness, you must be spiritually fit and clean in order to help them through the journey.”

In previous years, the actress confirmed she was a sangoma who healed people with motivation.

She has been posting videos raising awareness of mental illness.
