YOUNG Community Shapers is looking for young community leaders who work to improve the lives of others in their communities.

The YCS campaign has been running for 17 years and through this time, we have been fortunate enough to meet amazing people and see how communities are being changed for the better by bold youth.

And now, we are in the process of searching for this year’s finalists!

If you are between the ages of 16 and 26 years and running a valid and well established community project that benefits and empowers the community, we would love to hear from you. Fill in an entry form and write an essay of no more than 300 words about your project.

In the essay, you will need to explain what your project is about and the good you are doing for your community – the more detail the better.

With the entries closing soon – on 10 July – the best and fastest way to get your entries to us would be to email it to [email protected].

Don’t miss out on your chance to win your share of R160 000 for your community project!
