Police have confirmed that they are holding one suspect in custody over the murder of actor, Dumi Masilela.
The suspect has been in police custody since last week, and he is believed to have been involved in the murder of Dumi, as well as in other crimes.

Speaking to TshisaLive, police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini said: “"He has been linked to other crimes and it is believed he is linked to the Dumi case. Investigations are ongoing".
Police have maintained that they only have one suspect in custody, despite the Ekurhuleni Executive Mayor Mzwandile Masina’s revelation at Dumi’s funeral over the weekend, telling mourners that the police have more than one suspect in custody.
