It is said that being a parent is one of the greatest joys one could ever experience.

However, this experience isn’t easy for every woman to navigate, particularly for single mothers who bear the brunt of taking care of their children without the assistance of their fathers. 

Sadly, this is the reality for many South African mothers. As schools re-open many have to do it all alone, from finding a school, buying uniform and stationery to lunch boxes.
