If I could have a rand for every time I have heard a person say to me, "Coach, please help me get a job," I would genuinely be able to compete with the winners of the Lotto! I usually smile, knowing I won't earn that rand but I can add my two cents’ worth.
So, often I do and I ask, "How many hours per day do you spend job-hunting?" I am usually met with a perplexed look and a voice trailing off in confusion, asking, "Hours?" The task of job-hunting is precisely that of a full-time job in permanent employment.
