In recent days, breaking news hit the airwaves with Thabo Cele supposedly ‘agreeing personal terms’ with Kaizer Chiefs. The 26-year-old had spent close to a decade plying his trade in Europe where he is currently playing for Polish outfit Radomiak Radom. Chiefs are currently still in negotiations with the Bafana Bafana midfielder. 

The 2023/24 DStv Premiership season gets underway on 4 August with Mamelodi Sundowns beginning their title defence against Sekhukhune United. Are we in for yet another Masandawana masterclass, or will we have a new PSL champion this time around? Teams have ‘beefed’ up their squads and will be looking to start strong with a victory.
