So, Amakhosi coach Molefi Ntseki has disclosed the reasons for Chivaviro's absence in those games.
Ntseki revealed that the main reason the striker was missing is to manage him properly because he had played a lot of games with Marumo Gallants last season.
The former Bafana Bafana coach stated that doctors have been monitoring him and now they will get feedback as to whether he is ready for this weekend or not.
"Ranga (Chivaviro) has kept training as an individual for a specific reason because if you look at his background when he was at Marumo he played too many matches," said Ntseki.
"So, we needed to protect him and also manage him so that when the season starts he will be in good shape and ready to go.
"But as of now, we will get the report from the medical team in terms of the players who are ready for this weekend and the season," the Amakhosi coach concluded.
