SAFA Technical Director Walter Steenbok recently revealed why Bafana Bafana assistant coach Helman Mkhelele missed the CAF A-license course, despite being one of the candidates selected, while touching on other topics such as the CAF Pro license, which will be available in South Africa soon.
Steenbok was addressing the media at the SAFA house where 26 coaches began the first phase of their CAF A license. The qualification had not been available for six years.
There has also been a boost from CAF with regards to the CAF pro-licensing, with Steenbok confirming it will be available in the country by 2024.
