This, sources claim, comes in the wake of the Brazilians being crowned champions of the inaugural African Football League by beating Al Ahly and Wydad Casablanca (in addition to Petro de Luanda) on their way to the winners’ podium.
Mokwena has consistently been asked how he was able to mastermind the downfall of two giants on the continent during the eight-team tournament, which has subsequently led to enquiries over his service.
