Group E: Japan vs Costa Rica (27/11, 12pm SAST)

Japan:

- Japan are placed 24th in the FIFA World Rankings. After their win against Germany on Wednesday, their form reads: WWDLW.

- Key men Takumi Minamino and Takehiro Tomiyasu were only substitutes in the last match and could start here.

- Japan have kept five clean sheets in their last seven matches. They allowed 26 shots and 3.09 expected goals against Germany, though.

- Five of Japan's last six World Cup matches have seen both teams on target.

Costa Rica:

- Costa Rica are the lowest-ranked team in the group (31st in the world). Their 7-0 loss to Spain means their last five results are: WDWWL

- That defeat to Spain saw them manage zero shots from 18% possession.

- Coach Luis Fernando Suarez could ring changes to the starting XI. Veteran attacker Bryan Ruiz is set for a recall.

- Los Ticos are winless in seven World Cup matches, failing to score in five of those.

Predicted Result: Japan WIN. The Samurai Blues can take a big step towards qualification with a victory.

Recommended Scoreline Options: 2-1 or 2-0.

Group F: Belgium vs Morocco (27/11, 3pm SAST)

Belgium:

- Belgium are placed 2nd in the FIFA World Rankings. Their recent from is: WWLLW.

- The Red Devils were largely outplayed against Canada as their opponents produced 22 shots and 2.63 expected goals.

- Key striker Romelu Lukaku is out injured. Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne created four chances against Canada and will provide service to forward Michy Batshuayi.

- Belgium have won seven of their last eight World Cup matches, finishing third in Russia in 2018.

Morocco:

- Morocco sit 22nd in the world rankings and are in strong form: WWDWD.

- Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech had two shots in Wednesday's 0-0 draw with Croatia. Paris Saint-Germain's Achraf Hakimi made three tackles in a strong display. Both are key for this match.

- The Atlas Lions have been beaten just twice in 40 matches and have not conceded in their last five.

- Morocco have won just once in their last 11 matches in the FIFA World Cup.

Predicted Result: DRAW. Morocco are capable of taking a point against an ageing Belgium team.

Group F: Croatia vs Canada (27/11, 6pm SAST)

Croatia:

- Croatia are placed 12th in the FIFA rankings. Their form is impressive: WWWWD.

- Despite a midfield featuring Real Madrid's Luka Modric and Chelsea's Mateo Kovacic, the Chequereds managed only five shots in their 0-0 draw with Morocco.

- Croatia are a hard team to beat. Their last 17 matches have brought just one loss.

- Hrvatska have been beaten just once in their last eight fixtures at the FIFA World Cup, the 2018 defeat in the final to France.

Canada:

- The Maple Leafs are Group F's lowest-ranked team (41st). Their last five matches went: WLDWL.

- In Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Belgium, Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies missed a penalty.

- Key striker Jonathan David (Lille) had seven shots in the loss to Belgium, with four of those blocked. His side outshot Belgium 22-9, but he needs to be more clinical in this one.

- Canada have lost all four of their previous FIFA World Cup matches.

Predicted Result: Croatia WIN. Canada were excellent against Belgium but may not be able to repeat that four days later.

Recommended Scoreline Options: 2-0 or 2-1

Group E: Spain vs Germany (27/11, 9pm)

Spain:

- Spain are the 7th-ranked side in world football coming into the World Cup. They have been in fine form for a while, with their last five reading: WLWWW.

- Luis Enrique's side are six World Cup matches without losing in regulation time: three wins and three draws.

Germany:

- Germany sit 11th in the FIFA World Rankings. Their form over the last five matches is: WLDWL.

- Die Mannschaft lost 2-1 to Japan in their first match of this tournament. They created 3.09 expected goals from 26 shots but couldn't take their chances.

- Jamal Musiala had three shots and two chances created vs Japan and the 19-year-old should start again.

- Germany's defeat to Japan was just their second in 17 matches. A win for Japan and a loss to Spain would see Germany eliminated at the group stage, as they were in 2018.

Predicted Result: Spain WIN. Germany look unbalanced and could be eliminated with a loss if Japan beat Costa Rica.

Recommended Scoreline Options: 2-1 or 3-1
