Kermit "Romeo" Erasmus got an exclusive early listen to Cassper Nyovest's seventh studio album at a cinema on Thursday evening.
Romeo was joined at the event by an ex-Buccaneer shot-stopper and TikTok content creator, where they enjoyed a lively performance from Cassper and one of South Africa's hottest up-and-coming rap stars.

Romeo attends Cassper Nyovest event
Kermit Erasmus isn't too far removed from the South African music industry, striking up close friendships with hip-hop producer Zooci Coke Dope and vocalist Marcus Harvey.
Erasmus' latest cross over onto the local hip-hop world saw him attend Cassper Nyovest's listening party at a cinema in Johannesburg last night, seated alongside Brighton Mhlongo and Primo Baloyi, Lucas Radebe's son and TikTok content creator.
Romeo got an exclusive early listen to "Solomon" the seventh studio album from the "Gusheshe" hitmaker. Take a look at Brighton Mhlongo's story:
The 11-track album includes a feature with rising rap star Maglera Doe Boy for the drill track "018" which was performed by the duo on the night.

The listening party also gave Cassper the chance to explain the background of his new project, adding context for the listeners that will definitely include hip-hop lover Erasmus.
