Kaizer Chiefs took to social media to show some love to one of their 'family members' on his birthday!

Check it out!

What's the story?

As one of the biggest clubs on the continent, it's no surprise that Amakhosi's fanbase extends to celebrities.

The club took to Twitter to wish radio personality and DJ, Mo Flava a happy birthday. The club regards Mo Flava as one of Amakhosi's 'Family Members' and wished him well on his future endeavors has he departs Metro FM.

Let's take a closer look at Chiefs' big shoutout...

Chiefs send well wishes to Mo Flava

Amakhosi sent Mo Flava, real name Moeti Tsiki, a special birthday shoutout on their Twitter page today, something they don't do for every celeb that supports them.

"We wish you all the best and all the success in the world. We surely will miss waking up to your voice in the mornings. Sending you [love]

"We will be watching you eagerly to see where you will be going next. Keep us in your heart, you have a special place in ours! We know you are a Khosi 4 Life!" said the club on Twitter.

The club's birthday message also alludes to Mo Flava departing Metro FM after a eight-year journey at one of the biggest and most hip radio stations in the country.

His last day at the station also happens to be today.

"Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate the love and support!" replied Mo Flava to Chiefs' message, with the seasoned radio presenter announcing his departure from Metro FM earlier this month:

Other celebs who support Chiefs

As mentioned, Chiefs is a well-supported club on this continent and there's a host of celebs that are proud followers of the Glamour Boys.

A-list South African celebs such as Minnie Dlamini, Bonang Matheba and DJ Tira are all said to be Chiefs fans. The late local hip-hop great AKA was also part of the Khosi Nation.

Springbok captain and global sport star Siya Kolisi can also be counted, while the club also follows young actress Nefisa Mkhabela from House of Zwide and are supported by radio presenter Ayanda MVP, who appeared in the launch of this season's new jerseys campaign.
