Now plying his trade in Poland for Gornik Zabrze, the journeyman's outrageous came from inside his own half. This long range effort comes after a Maart's unforgettable Soweto Derby winner.

Podolski's goal
Lukas Podolski has always been regarded as a reliable gunman for the German National team and has some wonder strikes under his belt at the many clubs he's played for.
The 37-year-old ex-Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan journeyman is now balling out in Poland, his country of birth, and made headlines this past weekend for a wonder goal.
In the 73rd minute of Gornik Zabrze's Ekstraklasa clash against Pogon Szczecin, Podolski spotted the keeper of his line and only needed two touches to find the target from distance.
