What's the story?
Yusuf Maart grabbed the headlines over the weekend for not only grabbing the winner against Orlando Pirates but also scoring a screamer from the half-way line.
Anyone who witnessed the midfielder's scorcher of a goal would have had the Puskas Award in the back of their mind.

Four other South Africans have been nominated for the award before, could Maart become the fifth? FIFA's latest tweet suggests so.
FIFA Tweets Maart's goal
Yusuf Maart's long-range winner which had Pirates' Siyabonga Mpontshane scrambling back after advancing too far out of his goal line was the perfect winner in a tightly contested derby.
The second half strike was Maart's first goal for Amakhosi and was against the club's biggest rivals, also a team Maart developed at as a youngster.
With the retirement of Hlompho Kekana, Maart just might become the DStv Prem's long range King and the Bafana baller could follow in the footsteps of the Downs legend with a Puskas nod.

FIFA took to Twitter to share the screamer and tipped it for a Puskas nomination:
"This strike from @KaizerChiefs’ Yusuf Maart could be one for the #Puskas list."
Maart could be joining a prestigious club of South African ballers who have been nominated for the Best Goal award. The aforementioned Kekana, Katlego Mphela, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Oscar Masuluke.
Maart the roof raiser
Maarties strike in the 74th minute of the all-important derby significantly raised the noise levels at the FNB Stadium.
The ex-Sekhukhune star had the Khosi Nation celebrating hard and the peeps at SuperSport tracked the noise levels before and after the goal.
