Turkish Super Lig side, Besiktas ripped up Emirhan Delibas' contract by mutual agreement after the winger's online dating profile was spotted and went viral on social media.

The 21-year-old denies the authenticity of the Bumble account in his name, which also incorrectly displays his age as "24."

Besiktas sack youngster for online dating profile

Turkish giants Besiktas have terminated the contract of one of their academy products, Emirhan Delibas after his dating profile was discovered online before spreading like a wild fire social media.

Delibas has left the club by mutual agreement and the winger has denied that the profile belongs to him, labelling it "fake". 

"I reject the slanders made by fake accounts and would like to state that my loyalty to my team cannot be questioned. Besiktas is a responsibility for me. Your love has been my greatest motivation," wrote the winger in a statement on Instagram, translated by the Daily Mail.

On the Bumble profile, Delibas is pictured wearing one of Besiktas' training kits, holding a mug, with his name and age, falsely claimed age of 24, is on full display

In the description, the profile tells potential suitors that Delibas is a footballer for Besiktas, with his Instagram handle linked and mentioned that he's looking for "something casual".

Although Besiktas did not reveal the reasons for parting ways with Delibas, it's likely to be linked to the youngster's alleged Bumble dating profile going viral.
