Jwaneng Galaxy head coach Morena Ramoreboli was left fuming after a reporter questioned his side's actions during a heated pre-match altercation.

Jwaneng Galaxy head coach Morena Ramoreboli was livid as he seemingly accused Simba SC of foul play following their CAF Champions League encounter on the weekend.

On Saturday, the South African manager's side suffered a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of the Tanzanian side, who progressed to the quarter-finals of the continent's premier club tournament with their victory.

Before the match kicked off, though, Galaxy's players and technical staff were said to have been involved in a clash with security.

Video footage of the incident showed how the altercation became heated after security refused to allow Ramoreboli and his side into the stadium.

In a post-match press conference, the South African tactician was quizzed about the incident, and lashed out at a journalist in attendance for asking questions "like a Simba supporter" after he enquired about the Galaxy players' response to the pre-match chaos.

"What was my players supposed to do when they were attacked? They're supposed to keep quiet when the door is closed for them to go into the stadium?" Ramoreboli asked in response.

The journalist then stated that Galaxy's players' reaction to the incident was not sportsman-like, prompting a fiery retort from the 43-year-old.

"It was responsibility for who? Because we are an away team and the security guards are attacking them, so who were supposed to protect us if the same security are attacking us?" he continued.

"Ask questions like a journalist, not like a Simba supporter.

"Are you saying, we are supposed to stop and fold our arms while we are attacked?

"If Simba were getting the same treatment in Botswana, will you be happy?"
