Incoming Manchester United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly found a manager he could replace Erik ten Hag with once his involvement with the club is confirmed.

With Erik ten Hag reportedly having his job on the line and Graham Potter being lined up as a potential replacement, KickOff readers have now had their say.

What's the story?

Goals from Sipho Mbule, Grant Kekana and Peter Shalulile helped the Brazilians to three points against the struggling Cape Town outfit. The win was Downs' 11th consecutive victory in the DStv Premiership.

After commending the players for their performance as well as the fans for their support, Mokwena posed the question.

"We just keep going, let's finish the year strong, sometimes people doubt us but I don't know why but anyway that's life and that's football," the Sundowns manager said.

As usual, whether it was in support of the Pretoria-based side or against them, KO readers were able to come up with answers to the tactician's question.

"I blame those people, they are the ones who makes Sundowns even more aggressive," says Gerby Darlington.

"But they are dominated here in South Africa because teams are very weak. In Africa they are easily beaten," says Abraham Gube while Frederick Tsietsi Nkaoane replied: "Easily beaten in Africa neh? Your statement should be accompanied by statistics."

"We are still watching, observing and analyzing but currently we are still not convinced, sorry," says Sicelo Sokudela.

"Jealousy can't stop a well managed and organised team to be the best," says Easywork Mangena.

"They will doubt us until the second coming of Jesus, but we as supporters we will stick to the team until the end of world," Al-Hajji Saeed Saidi.

"Go to Cape Town Spurs and coach them 5 games only wanna see something," Xolile Nombambela.

"He must still win the CCL. Then the football public will eat humble pie," says Nozulu Alice.

"Don't mind them Sir there will always be naysayers and doubters," says Emmanuel Dube.

"They are waiting us to fail," says Malesela Samuel.

"It's chest pains period," says Malinge Mahobe.

"Go win against Pyramids in Egypt," says Gloria Olisawoli Okon.

Meanwhile, over in England, a plan is reportedly being advised to sack Erik ten Hag with a potential replacement already having been identified, according to The Sun

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe said to be in the process of securing a 25% stake in the club, he has already held a meeting with former Chelsea boss Graham Potter, who would be the British billionaire's first choice as a replacement for the Dutchman.

While some reports have suggested that Ten Hag is not in danger of losing his job in the near future, serious doubts have emerged regarding his long-term tenure at the club with the seemingly imminent arrival of Ratcliffe.

Some KO were in favour of United parting ways with its current boss while others suggested that the side's problem are bigger than just an issue with the manager. Check out what they had to say.

"They must sack the players as well coz now they have a new style of when a new manager comes they play well take us to Champions league position following season they become useless knowing the manager will be sucked," says Rinani Ndou.

"Ronaldo was made a scapegoat....Sancho was the best, Fred was a top performer, Varane was the best defender, De Gea saved them alot. This coach was used to managing kids and it is providing now," says Siyabonga Ayanda.

"They want to replace him with Graham Potter? It's a joke," says Gandamipfa Blackieswart Ram.

"The results of coaching with a TV licence," Bongani Mgubela.

"Even the special one could not succeed there," Tati Lemphane.

"Hope this is true, it's long overdue," says Alvin Trigger January.

"Give our own striker coach Benni the remaining season," Xolani Lastboy S'bonelo.

"The problem at United is beyond any manager, changing managers won’t solve anything," Fhix R Tsheole.

"The club's hierarchy would be joking this time if he is sacked instead of the players," Thabiso Moloto.

"Big mistake!" exclaims Seabe SB Lekopanye.

"Zinedine Zidane is available and currently he's not coaching any Club so Zinedine Zidane is a right man to coach Manchester United and assistant by Benni McCarthy or anybody who can speak fluent English because from where I'm sitting Zidane is a French speaking guy so somebody can be there to help him understand this language quickly," says Joas Ndhuma Chauke.
