When she first started playing for South Africa's national cricket team, some thought she was too young. But she believed she was more than ready, and she's proved it over and over.
Tumi Sekhukhune (22) joined the South African women's cricket squad for its series against the West Indies Women when she was 19 years old. She is a fast bowler for the national team.
“I was ready when I started. I had been working hard behind closed doors. I went to a few academies and my work started showing off then. I knew this is what I was destined for,” she tells Drum.
