From headlining several South African shows and others across the continent, she has risen to the level of rubbing shoulders with the international stars.
Uncle Waffles, real name Lungelihle Zwane, is an Eswatini-born DJ who is big on the amapiano scene.
She has spent the last few days in the US for the 22nd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Coachella 2023 took place on the first two weekends of April and was held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
She burst into the entertainment in 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Since then, stars like Drake have been taking notice of her, with him even posting her on his Instagram stories.
With her signature moves, she performed in front of an adoring crowd at Coachella and she had fun with many stars including Ciara. Singer and dancer Ciara tweeted that the two of them are a vibe.
