United States rapper Vic Mensa (28) was reportedly arrested at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) after drugs were allegedly found in his luggage.
He was returning from Ghana at the time. In South Africa, the rapper is known for his former relationship with musician Nadia Nakai.

According to People magazine, Vic was found with an estimated “41 grams of liquid Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), 124 grams of Psilocybin capsules, 178 grams of Psilocybin gummies, and six grams of Psilocybin mushrooms”.
It's been reported that Vic has been taken into custody.
TMZ said Vic was pulled aside for a secondary search, and that's when agents found what they believe to be magic mushrooms.

Nadia and Vic met on Instagram and started chatting before they later took the conversation to WhatsApp, working on the song Practice together. They then met for the first time in Ghana to shoot the music video.
In an interview with Slikour, Nadia spoke about the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship.
“I never would have considered a long-distance relationship if it wasn't with him. I can never trust him fully because a man is a man,” she said.
“He’s used to not having a sexual relationship with someone for years because he did that at a time in his life where he needed to. I know how hard it is to be in a long-distance relationship and I know that there’s a chance that he might be hooking up with someone else, I must just never find out.”
Nadia later revealed in an episode of Drink Or Tell The Truth with Lasizwe Dambuza that she and the U Mad rapper were no longer an item. This is after being asked whether she would prefer to have kids with her ex-boyfriends, Bandile Mbere of Major League DJz or Vic Mensa.
“I’d have to say, Vic, definitely Vic Mensa,” she said.
But when asked whether they were dating, Nadia said, “We broke up, but it's fine, it doesn’t matter.”
