She has become the second black woman to make history by reaching EGOT status and her wins are being celebrated globally.

Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson was crowned an 'EGOT' achiever – after having won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT) – at the 75th Tony awards.

Jennifer won the Tony award as a producer on A Strange Loop, the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical written by Michael R Jackson that follows a Black gay man as he tries to write a musical while struggling with his identity. It won an award for Best Musical.
