Did Kim Kardashian vote for her husband’s opponent?

That was the question on everyone’s lips after she took to her Twitter page to celebrate President-elect Joe Biden’s win in the recent US election.

This year marked her husband, Kanye West’s first presidential attempt. His independent political party called the Birthday Party received R60 000 votes out of an estimated total of 160 million votes counted.

According to BBC news, Kanye West appeared on the voting ballot in 12 states. When Kanye West announced his candidacy in July, he said that his platform was modelled on Wakanda, the fictional kingdom from Black Panther.

During one of his rallies in South Carolina, Kanye West made some astonishing claims about Kim. The rapper said he and wife had seriously considered terminating their first pregnancy but she decided against it.

"I almost killed my daughter . . . So even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world, even when I didn't want to. She stood up, and she protected that child."

He also revealed that his mother Donda West, who passed away in 2007, saved his life because his father wanted to abort him.

“My dad wanted to abort me. My mom saved my life. There would have been no Kanye West without my mom," he said.

Kim’s work with Donald Trump

Kim has in the past worked closely with the White House in connection with her prison reform work.

The socialite has had a relationship with President Donald Trump and frequently visited the White House to get Trump's help on some of the cases she was working on.

She has been able to obtain presidential pardons for multiple people who have been incarcerated for non-violent crimes, including 64-year-old Alice Marie Johnson.

Alice, who was charged on a non-violent drug charge, was released after spending 19 years in prison.

Questioning her loyalty

Many fans of the couple took to Twitter to speculate if Kim voted for her husband or not.

After the recent announcement of Biden's win, Kim celebrated together with fellow Americans calling it a new dawn for the country.

However, not everyone was impressed with Kim's celebration. One follower even questioned her loyalty to her husband, commenting "not even Judas was so treacherous".

However, many of her followers came to her rescue stating clearly that she has her own political views and mind and should be allowed to exercise her right to vote for whoever she wants.
