People had been speculating for some time. But now Shauwn Mkhize’s daughter-in-law, Tamia Mpisane, has confirmed what many were suspecting: she is pregnant.

In a heartfelt letter to her unborn child, Tamia wrote about how she cannot wait to meet her child.

“Dear Baby, oh how I can’t wait to meet you. One day when you get to see this, I want you to know just how precious you are to me. From the moment I knew about you, I fell insanely in love with you,” she wrote.

“You are my first baby, and this new chapter is going to be a learning curve for both of us. But I promise to give you the best of me. I’m not perfect but my love for you is and will forever be perfect.”

“May God watch over you and protect you. May his love and grace be the guiding force for our journey ahead. All my love, Mom.”

Tamia (25) and Andile (20) announced their marriage on 1 December 2021 after an intimate wedding ceremony. Many thought their wedding was a prank, but Andile soon confirmed that the marriage was real on social media.

“I feel blessed to have found an amazing woman that shares the same goals as me. I’m looking forward to a fruitful future with my wife and family. I’m thankful to God for bringing her in my life. To Tamia Mpisane I love you mkami aka Mrs AM. I choose you and there is no turning back we are in this together. Cheers. To us my wife and welcome to the family,” he wrote.

Many criticised the union as Andile was known to be dating the mother of his two children, Sithelo Shozi. But Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize quickly came to her son's defence after also being accused of failing her son.

“I personally have no grudges or any untoward feelings against the mother of my grandkids. She’s given me two beautiful grandchildren which binds us forever and I will always consider her to be like a daughter to me. As a mother, it is my job to guide and support my sons’ decisions. And I would like it to be known that I will never choose for him. I’ve lived my life and learned my lessons! I will never take away the opportunity for him to live his own life and learn his lessons along the way,” she added,” Mamkhize wrote in a long post.
