TWO people lost their lives on Sunday morning, 20 March after a horrific car crash on the N1 North after the Rivonia Road off-ramp in Joburg.
Emer-G-Med said when its paramedics responded to the scene, they found the twisted remains of a bakkie taking up the width of the roadway.
“The occupants had been ejected and lay strewn over the roadway. Closer inspection found two people sustained fatal injuries and they were declared dead on arrival of paramedics,” it said.

A third person was found in critical condition and was treated and stabilised on the scene before being airlifted to a specialist facility for complete care.
The cause of the collision and the events leading up to it were unclear at this stage.
