SUNREADERS have no doubt already learnt that our SunPower show, Sun’Ceda, is set to return to TV at the end of September on Mzansi Wethu.
Sun’Ceda is aimed at helping some SunLanders take a step up in life, and this season will be no different.
Speaking to the People’s Paper, our host, the legendary Stoan Seate, said shooting the show has been amazing.
“This is because I enjoy meeting different kinds of people and getting inspired by their stories and overall, just seeing the triumph of the human spirit,” he said.
“This new season has been a serious personal growth mission as I have experienced things that are far from my life.
“I now have a better understanding and empathy, and it made me look at life a bit differently.”
Although Stoan shared they have done big things for people in this new season, the award-winning musician said he feels like there is still more that needs to be done.

“This is because South Africa has a lot of challenges that we have to knock down.
“I hope the show inspires and influences people that are privileged to lend a helping hand wherever they can so we can cover more ground in eradicating the challenges,” he said.
The Bongo Maffin group member said at the end of the season he hopes to revisit the families to catch up with them and find out where they are in life.
“Keeping in touch and connecting with people is important and also to see how our help has impacted them and if there is any progress or more help needed,” he said.
Last year, the talented musician launched his own gin.
He told Daily Sun his business is doing well, but it was affected by the lockdown.
“We are slowly trying to rebuild, but with every lockdown it takes us back.
“It is almost like a one step forward, two steps backward.
“But I am very determined about it, and I have faith that it will grow immensely once everything settles down,” he said.
The new season of Sun’Ceda will premiere at the end of September on Mzansi Wethu, DStv channel 163.
