ZINE Kohliso left to go to a wedding in her kasi.

But the next thing her older sister Siphokazi Kohliso received a chilling message from her.

Zine (20) was pleading with her sister to fetch her as she was being kidnapped and her kidnappers were taking her to Maboneng in Joburg.

As her sister tried to communicate further, her phone went off. And it has been off since 9 December.

Nobody knows where Zine is or her whereabouts at Maboneng.

A case of kidnapping was opened at Etwatwa Police Station.

"At the time I was communicating with her, she said they were on the N12 freeway going to Joburg," said Siphokazi.

"I've been communicating with her on WhatsApp until she stopped talking. I'm not sure if her cellphone was taken by her kidnappers as we were communicating. I'm traumatised," she said.

"Her other name is Phelokazi. I kept on saying 'Phelo, Phelo', but she was not answering. I don't know what to do. Even if I go to Maboneng, where will I start because the place is big," she said.

Siphokazi said she was praying every minute for her sister to be found.

"She's one sweet person and doesn't deserve to go through this," she said.

Siphokazi from Etwatwa, Ekurhuleni said she was left with her sister after their parents died several years ago.

"We've been each other's pillars. Life without her is not the same. I plead with the people who have my sister to please release her."

Siphokazi said she has been struggling to eat or sleep.

"I fear the worst. These days scary things happen and I'm praying to see my sister again," she said.

Captain Nelda Sekgobela said police are investigating the kidnapping case.

"We are pleading with anyone who has information to inform the police.
