ZIMBABWEANS, travelling from Mzansi, told Daily Sun that they are praying for a safe journey during the festive season, even though the ticket prices are expensive.

Some travellers said money was not a problem but said it was important to visit their loved ones during the festive season.

Isaiah Donga (73) said that he was expecting as a senior citizen to have a special price for them.

He said he paid R800 from Bosman in Pretoria to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He said the bus he took was comfortable and smart.

"We wish the senior citizens can pay at least 75% of the ticket prices on the cross-border buses."

The madala said he was visiting Zimbabwe to bury a family member and planned to return on Monday, 25 December.

Isaiah said he is worried about accidents and thugs who target buses.

"The treatment is world class, the bus is beautiful, and the bus fare was not bad since it's festive season," she said.

She was visiting home to sort out some documents and will spend Christmas in Pretoria.

Buhle Khumalo (28) said the treatment was so great.

She is visiting family to spend Christmas with them.

The travellers said they were expecting a blessed Christmas.
