ANDILE Mageza (17) says her greatest wish is to help young girls to focus on their education.
The teenager from Soshanguve in Tshwane said she will start an organisation called Teen Moms in 2024.
The organisation will help encourage teen mothers to go back to school.
Andile, a mum of a one-year-eight months baby boy who is completing her matric at DC Marivate Secondary School, said it was hard to learn as a mother.
"I encourage girls to focus on their schoolwork so that they can provide for their children in the future," she said.
The teenager said she was still going to school while she was pregnant, adding that she stayed three months at home as it was during the December holidays.
"I will use my organisation to mentor girls and encourage them to have safe sex."
Andile said other pupils laughed at her during her pregnancy, but she never looked back as she continued with her education.
She said her pregnancy was unplanned and has learnt to be careful with unprotected sex.

The teen said her family has been supportive since her pregnancy.
"I'm proud to be a teen mum because a lot of girls fail to go back to school after giving birth, but I went back."
She said education is important and wants to be a role model for her son.
Andile is appealing for any help to start her organisation, adding that she wants to study marketing in future.
Her friend, Reamogetse Tau (18), said she supports her because she believes what she's doing is an example to all teen mothers.
"Even after giving birth, I continued to be her friend and supported her," she said.
Andile's gogog, Martha Mageza (80), who also permitted Daily Sun to talk to her grandchild, said she heard that Andile wanted to start an organisation to help young girls.
"We are supportive of her life, and we are behind her initiative," she said.
