A YOUNG mum of two who lives on a railway track next to Sportpark Station at Lyttelton in Centurion, Tshwane has had enough of living there and wants out.

Mmatebogo Thakathi is among the 600 people who have built shacks on the railway track and many of them are waste pickers from Lesotho.

The 22-year-old from Lesotho said she arrived in the area in 2022 and lived with her boyfriend, but he was arrested during Operation Shanela in September 2023 for having invalid papers to be in the country.
